Drag suits are special swimsuits which can be used by both men and women while training. The main or the original purpose of a training drag suit is to increase your resistance while you swim. Since the outer layer is made out of mesh fabric and the drag suit runs a bit larger than a normal swimsuit, water gets caught in it thus causing more drag and making you work harder while you swim. You will be amazed how much faster you will feel after you take the drag suit off. So, if you have hit a swimming plateau or want to get the extra edge over your competition, get a training drag suit.

Our BornToSwim® training drag suit is double layered with comfortable polyester inner lining and robust outer mesh fabric. It is chlorine resistant, therefore it will outlast you. Drag suits can last over 10 years with daily usage. Since there are two layers of fabric, you do not necessarily need another suit below the drag suit, but it is recommended.
